Growing up makes us forget that our grandparents are getting old. But Erica Luscher did not forget this and went to Port Orange, Florida. The whole family hadn’t gotten a chance to get together for so long, so they decided to surprise them.
The family had to drive over 800 miles for this astonishing surprise at a local restaurant in their town. The first individual to observe was the grandmother. She stood stunned in the middle of the restaurant.
Grandpa is next. He recognized his daughter and was to say, “What are you doing here?” But before he spotted someone.
He dissolves into a flood of tears, struggling to utter just one word. Finally, the only word that came was “Buddy.” He cuddles his grandson, tears of joy streaming down his face.
